I wrote a review several years ago, rating it Five stars. At this point, I would amend it to a Three. The show is still good. I'm a subscriber to the free show and their premium Bonus Show. Mike, Robb, and Oscar provide a good comedy show everyday, baring their souls for the world to see. They do not shy away from shining a spotlight on their lives. This is unquestionably the best part of the show. The show suffers from some parts which are completely skippable. The last twenty minutes of each show is devoted to Mike's "News You May Not Need" and Robb's "Audio Vault." think the news could be skipped entirely, as the guys discuss the biggest news stories in the body of the show. As for the Audio Vault - some of the clips Robb brings to the table are noteworthy, such as "lost" music clips or recordings, as well as the stories behind them. That's why I enjoy his solo music show. The Audio Vault could probably stand to be an as-needed occasional event rather than a daily requirement.I think the free show limits itself with a "radio friendly" format for commercial breaks, but that's a necessary evil as they currently have two affiliates which air the program. The bane of the show is the weekly mailbag, which can be 20-30 minutes of letters and emails which largely beg Mike to do impressions. Personally, I think this comes across as a burden which must be delivered. Oscar does a separate podcast in which the listeners ask personal and funny questions of the hosts which inspire discussion. I would greatly appreciate if Mike called upon his listerners to do the same.tl;dr - Four Stars, because "It's Good." The positives outweigh the negatives, especially if you miss "guy talk" radio that was phased out in the late 00s. Give it a shot and see if it's for you.
